Administrative and Secretarial Service 30T 346 01 (Qualification – Secretary)
Duration of studies – 640 hours (400 hours – theory, 240 hours – practical work)
Requirements for candidates – secondary education.

Knowledge and skills aquired during the studying process:

  • to draw up and formalize administrative documents in accordance with valid statutory acts;
  • to prepare and carry out verification of the original document’s derivatives;
  • to use office equipment and electronical means of communication;
  • to carry out admission, sorting, registration, circulation, control of fulfillment, verification; classification, dispatch, issue and record keeping of documents;
  • to use regulating statutory acts, which determine the process of Office Work;
  • to prepare documents in order to hand over them to the archive;
  • to use office and other necessary computer programs;
  • to apply swift writting.

√ Metal Working 20T 521 01 (qualification – Metal worker)
Duration of studies – 640 shours (400 hours – theory, 240 hours – practical work)
Requirements for candidates – basic education

Subjects:

  • Working Technology of the Metal Working.
  • Study of Materials.
  • Technical Drawing.
  • Tolerance and Technical Metrology.
  • Occupational Safety.
  • Practical Studies in Metal Working.
  • Qualification Practice.

Knowledge and skills aquired during the studying process:

  • follow the requirements of environmental control, occupational safety electrical and fire safety;
  • to carry out flat and solid formatting;
  • to carry out threading of metal with hands and mechanized tools;
  • to carry out metal block’s threading out from metal sheets;
  • to carry out rectification of metal in cold and hot conditions by hands or by using mechinized tools;
  • to carry out bending of black and coloured metal of various assortement in cold and hot conditions;
  • to carry out threading of metal with hand tools/hand snips, alligator shears, hand hacksaw and by using electrical and pneumatic equipment and devices;
  • to carry out threading of pipes with hacksaw and pipe cutter;
  • to carry out filing, bottom cutting, fretwork  of various configurations (flat, cylindrical, fornicated, concave) of inner and outer surfaces and to carry out  surface quality control by using hand or mechanized tools ;
  • to carry out preparation, installment and maintenance of hand and stationary boring machines;
  • to carry out transparent, untransparent, gradual boring, widening, chamfering, deployment and other operations;
  • to carry out cutting of inner coil and incut of outer coil by hand tools, mechinized tools and devices;
  • to carry out adjustment and scrupering;
  • to carry out fitting and finishing of surfaces of details of various shapes, by using special tools, materials and pastes;
  • to carry out riveting with metal worker’s hand tools;
  • to check quality of riveted joints and carry out caulking of riveted joints;
  • to carry out  creation of nondetachable joints by help of methods of welding and splicing;
  • to read working and assembly drafts;
  • to create working sketches of details;
  • to draw up work process traveler.

Duration of studies – 640 hours (400 hours – theory, 240 hours – practical work)
Requirements for candidates – basic education

Subjects:

  • Working Technology of Turning.
  • Study of Materials.
  • Technical Drawing.
  • Tolerance and Technical Metrology.
  • Occupational Safety.
  • Practical Studies in Turning.
  • Qualification Practice.

Knowledge and skills aquired during the studying process:

  • follow the requirements of environmental control, occupational safety, electrical and fire safety;
  • to carry out blading of outer cylindrical (smooth, grooved) surfaces, finished surface’s blading, cutting of billets; to choose the necessary tools and make their preparation for work (grinding) and to set up the necessary mode of threading;
  • to carry out creation of inner cylindrical surfaces by a twist drill, to carry out operations of drilling and widening, to choose and apply lubricating fluid and coolant fluid;
  • to carry out deployment of the bore by using a drill, to choose the appropriate tool and to set up the necessary mode of drilling;
  • to carry out turning of inner cylindrical (smooth, grooved) bores by using a cutting bit, to choose the appropriate cutting bit in accordance with the type of the bore, prepare the cutting bit for work (grind) and to set up the necessary mode of turning;
  • to cut coils by using special blades and ripped drill, ensuring appropriate outer and inner characteristics of cylindrical surface (diameter), to set up the necessary mode of threading, to choose and apply lubricating fluid and coolant fluid;
  • to carry out blading of outer and inner conical surfaces, to prepare a drill for work;
  • to choose, prepare and set up cutters;
  • to choose the mode of threading;
  • to screw in  one-thread and multipass outer and inner cravings by using a cutting bit;
  • to choose the appropriate cutting bit, prepare it for work (grind) and to set it up;
  • to set up the necessary lead of threading and to set up the necessary mode of threading;
  • to carry out plain and medium complexity blading of surfaces;
  • to choose the appropriate method of blading, the necessary cutting tools and prepare (grind) them for work;
  • to choose the necessary devices and auxiliary devices;
  • to choose and set up the necessary mode of threading;
  • to blade plain and medium complexity shapes, details, which are installed with difficulties, three-jaw chucks and four-jaw chucks on face chucks and squares as well as to use movable and immovable support holders;
  • to cary out the necessary estimations;
  • to read working drafts;
  • to create working sketches of details.

* After the student has aquired the program of futher education, has passed tests, qialification exams and have done qualification practice, he/she gets the certificate of the 2-nd level of professional qualification.

* Duration of the program is not less than 640 hours, mode of study – full-time studies.

* Languages of studies – Latvian/Russian

* Studies take place – in day and evening time.
